Advocates & Allies: Webinar Series
Wed 2nd December 11:00am-12:00pm
The Role of Primary Health Networks in Recovery
Join MHCC for the second in a series of free interactive webinars on the agencies, programs and processes that interface with the mental health system in NSW.
This series is for anyone working in mental health who wants to build knowledge of the complex mental health service system. Develop your understanding of the system to support self-advocacy and independence in the people you work with, and bring access and equity to service delivery.
In this webinar, MHCC welcomes presenters Anita McRae, Senior Manager Mental Health Drug and Alcohol with Murrumbidgee PHN, and Lesley Pullen, Mental Health Manager, Central and Eastern Sydney PHN.
Anita and Lesley will discuss how PHNs have evolved and what the PHN does in their region with a particular demographic. They will explain their relationship to other parts of the service system and talk about partnerships, commissioning, practice support, research and more.
Participants are invited to submit questions prior to the webinar via email: firstname.lastname@example.org. Questions from participants are also welcome on the day.
MHCC invites everyone working in mental health, peer workers, carers and supporters to join us for this free series.
