Mental Health Drug & Alcohol Change Management Project
Start Date: July 2008Estimated Completion Date: December 2009
Summary:
This project in partnership with NADA seeks to increase the confidence and capacity of community organisations in responding to the needs of people with both mental health and substance use (ie coexisting disorders) issues. It will take an organisational change approach involving training and service development to improve skills in responding to substance use issues.
Anticipated Outcomes:
· Training package and associated resources developed and rolled out to 6 sites in 2009
· Information gathered to be used as the basis to pursue further opportunities for comorbidity workforce development and learning beyond 2009.
