Traineeships in Mental Health Work - the new way to attract workers and hold on to existing workers

Mental Health Work Traineeships are now available for community based organisations. They are a fantastic way of attracting new entrants to the sector and recognising the skills of existing workerl. Government incentives of up to $4,000 per trainee are now available!

Your new workers

Government incentives are available for eligible new recruits. The financial incentives provide a valuable opportunity for organisations to skill up new entrants to the workforce with minimal cost. Traineeship eligibility is determined in conjunction with the Australian Apprenticeship Centre and varies from participant to participant.

Your existing workers

Existing workers may also be eligible to attract Government incentives and gain recognition for existing skills through a combination of training, assessment and RPL.
