CHCCS304A Assist with self-medication
This course encompasses:
• Knowledge of legislative and agency requirements relating to assisting a person to self medicate
• Knowledge of own role and responsibilities in assisting with self medication
• Ability to encourage the person to participate in self medication
• Ability to maintain the safety of a person when assisting with self medication
Candidates for assessment will complete course work including role play and quiz and submit a work portfolio that summarises application of skills in assisting people with self medication. This will include a workplace supervisor report that they have sighted this practise and documentation evidence.
