Learning, Development and Training
MHCC works to improve mental health services by promoting and developing the skills, knowledge and qualifications of the community based workforce particularly in relation to mental health work. To do this we
- Promote and run the very popular Mental Health First Aid Courses as a base level training for all workers who deliver critical public services
- Have become an RTO and provide professional development and nationally recognised training through the Learning and Development Unit including the Certificate IV in Mental Health Work
- Provide information on training opportunities across the sector
We also encourage you to check out the training now available on using routine consumer outcome monitoring as a tool to help deliver effective services. See “Mapping the Difference We Make”
