The Mental Health Coordinating Council (MHCC) is the peak body for community mental health organisations in New South Wales.

MHCC has been supporting community based organisations to deliver services to people with mental health issues, their families and carers since 1983.

Because mental health is everybody's business

We strive to raise the profile of mental health through our projects, submissions and by promoting partnership development.

MHCC is currently accredited under Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS).

MHCC Members CEO and Senior Management Forum
Friday 29 May 2015

MHCC invites Members to attend a CEO and Senior Managers Forum on May 29th 2015 at Aerial UTS Function Centre.

NSW Minister for Mental Health Pru Goward has welcomed the opportunity to attend and will speak to the government's directions plus give some insights into her own priorities for mental health in NSW.

David Butt from the National Mental Health Commission will speak to the findings and recommendations of the National Review of Mental Health Services.

Other topics covered at the Forum will include: the likely impact of the soon to be established Primary Health Networks; the rise of the 'social impact' approach to funding services and the Hospital to Home initiative; attendees will also hear from a selection of providers who will share their learning from implementation of practice/clinical governance frameworks within their organisations.
