Call for submissions to the development of Regional Homelessness Action Plans

As part of the implementation of the NSW Homelessness Action Plan, Housing NSW, in conjunction with other NSW government agencies with responsibility for homelessness, is developing Regional Homelessness Action Plans. These plans will be based on the 10 Regional Coordination Program regions and will assist NSW in implementing reforms to the homelessness service system. Consultation workshops are being held in each region during February 2010 to assist in the development of the Plans. Attendance at the Consultation Workshops is by invitation only. Due to the limited number of people able to attend the consultation workshops, Housing NSW is also calling for submissions to assist with the development of the regional plans. This includes feedback on priority issues and information on projects, initiatives and partnerships that are currently working well. Submissions are due by 19 February 2009 and can be made via the Housing NSW website www.housing.nsw.gov.au
