Learning & Development Unit
Student Support Admin Officer
Full time - 38 hours, Monday - Friday (P/T negotiable)
Essential Criteria
- Relevant and proven experience working in an autonomous administration role
- Ability to maintain administrative systems
- Proven ability to pay attention to detail and maintain a high level of accuracy
- Demonstrated high level organisational and problem solving skills including the ability to plan and coordinate high volume tasks to meet deadlines
- Proven ability to work in a team environment and on an individual basis
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Well developed computer skills in a Windows environment including experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products
Desirable Criteria
- Experience in the use of training packages
- Experience using databases
- Experience working in community services sector
- Commitment to OH&S, EEO, Anti Discrimination and Ethical Practice
- Current driver’s licence
Salary: $55K per annum, negotiable depending on experience. Salary packaging available. SCHCDS Award conditions.

Research Network Project Officer
Contract (End date 28th June 2013) 2-3 days per week
The Mental Health Coordinating Council (MHCC) is the Peak body for organisations providing community Mental Health services throughout NSW.
An opportunity has arisen for a Project Officer to establish and maintain all aspects of the Mental Health Drug & Alcohol Research Network and research a seeding grants scheme.
We are searching for an individual that is energetic, flexible and adaptable, has excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to ‘think on their feet’ and to work to deadlines within a dynamic and changing environment. An individual who can multitask priorities, has exceptional planning and organisation skills, has initiative, a high level of self-motivation and attention to detail.

Essential Criteria
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or relevant professional experience
- Experience to manage and coordinate research network activities
- Demonstrated experience in establishing and maintaining relationships with various bodies, including research, NGO/community sector, Government
- Capacity to support consumers and carers to engage with the research network and undertake research
- Strong organisation and administration skills and the ability to manage competing priorities, including grants administration
- Demonstrated high level communication skills, including the capacity to disseminate information in multiple forms and promote the research network
- Demonstrated understanding of mechanisms which may support sustainability of the research network
- Demonstrated ability to plan, monitor, review and report on projects

Salary: $78,000 pro rata per annum with salary packaging available. Social Community Health Care and Disability Services Industry Award conditions.
