PROJECT OFFICER
Building Capacity in Community Mental Health Family and Carer Respite Project
MHCC is looking for a project officer to work on this exciting new national initiative to improve delivery of respite services to families and carers of people with mental health problems. Whilst you will be part of a national project your role is to project manage the NSW component. In this role you will develop new partnerships and linkages to increase mental health family and carer respite services in NSW.
This is a leadership position and will require:
• Establishing strategic relationships and developing strong networks to increase Mental Health Family and Carer Respite services across regions in NSW
• Working with agencies to develop localised service partnerships to tender for additional services
• Support the development of new and innovative mental health family carer and respite services that effectively target the diverse and changing needs of consumers and carers
Location: Based at MHCC, Rozelle Sydney

Terms and Conditions of Employment
Hours: 4 days per week
Standard terms and conditions of employment apply
This position is 0.8 FTE and is fixed term, commencing in August 2008 and finishing June 2009.
Salary: SACS level 6
Commensurate with experience, to be negotiated
Salary packaging is available
Superannuation will be standard employer contribution
